Why Facebook Beats MySpace (For Me)

August 3rd, 2007 by Colin Carmichael

I won’t be so presumptuous as to declare why Facebook beats MySpace for everyone. I can, however, speak for myself and those I’ve spoken to about this and it’s really very simple.

MySpace = my space

Facebook = our space

    Plus, on a personal note, I find MySpace to be somewhat ugly. Facebook looks a lot more organized.

  2. True, but I’ve seen some pretty cluttered Facebook profiles lately…

    interesting – MySpace seems to be a lot of spam/sex/clutter now – Both systems are only as good as what you put into them. I am just getting started on Facebook so I have few friends etc (poor me right:) so I have yet to unlock its potential. In a dream world you would have the networking of LinkedIn, the openness of MySpace and the quality of Facebook – IMHO

  4. I love facebook. It is getting more popular without all the un-wanted friend requests that you get in myspace…
